Teachers are decision makers. They are artists in the classrooms. They make the learning magic happen. Whatever our role may be in leading a Blended Learning initiative, we will be most successful when we focus first on learning. Technology is a tool that when used well amplifies a teacher’s instruction and provides a personalized learning experience for students.

As we lead learning at the classroom, school or district level, our shared objective is to be highly effective in leveraging technology to yield a significant impact on student learning. This session will focus on building a shared understanding of the desired state for a Blended Learning implementation and considering possible steps in moving from our current state to the desired state. We will consider various reflection questions including the following:

To achieve impact, how do we focus our energy on using technology and data to make the best instructional decisions possible?
How do we identify our current state of implementing a Blended Learning Model?
How might we reflect on our practice and take steps to close the gap between current state and desired state?
